Bitty Sports
Liberty Parks & Rec is offering a wide variety of Bitty Sports programs for kids ages 3-5 years old that use fun games to entertain and engage the kids in physical activity. Each session is designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, self confidence and most of all fun! Parent participation is highly encouraged for the success of these programs.
Program Offerings

BITTY BASKETBALL INFO:
This program provides your child with their first glimpse at the game of basketball. They will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and running the court in a fun, safe and positive environment with other children of the same age.
- For boys and girls ages 3 - 5 (All children must be at least 3 years old by the registration deadline)
- Saturdays from 9 - 10 a.m., 10 - 11 a.m. or 11 - 12 p.m.
- 4 week mini clinics and the final week will consist of a game night where teams scrimmage
- Individual registration
- Parent participation is highly encouraged
JANUARY SESSIONS - 2024
- Saturdays, January 6 - January 27, 2024
- Registration deadline is Dec. 3, 2023
FEBRUARY SESSIONS - 2024
- Saturdays, February 3 - February 24, 2024
- Registration deadline is Jan. 7, 2024
BITTY SOCCER:
- Ages 3- 5 years old (All children must be 3 by September 9, 2023 )
- Sessions are held on Saturdays
- Each child will receive a t-shirt and medal
- Participants will need to bring cleats and shin guards

TINY TOT T-BALL INFO:
- Ages 3-5
- Monday, Tuesday or Thursday from 6-7 p.m.
- 4 weeks of instructional mini clinics with a game on the last week
- Participants will need to bring a water bottle and glove
- Program is held at Liberty Middle School baseball fields Map »
- Parent participation is highly encouraged
JUNE SESSIONS
- Monday, June 5-26
- Tuesday, June 6-27
- Thursday, June 8-29
- Registration deadline is May 28
Parent Volunteers
Liberty Parks & Rec instructors work with parent volunteers who lead small groups through designated stations. If you would like to become a parent volunteer, please contact Abigail Hannah.
Scholarship Program
If you need any assistance to participate in a sports program, please check out the Liberty Parks & Rec Foundation Scholarship Programs. These scholarships can make LPR programs and activities more accessible by partially covering the cost of current registration fees for youth who qualify.
