Liberty Parks & Rec offers multiple divisions of baseball leagues in the spring, summer and fall to accommodate multiple ages and skill levels. We are constantly improving our programs to offer the best options for the youth in the community.

Intro to Competitive Baseball League

  • Liberty Parks & Rec Intro to Competitive Baseball League is designed for a Single A level of competition for those who are getting started in competitive baseball. 
  • For boys ages 7-14
  • Levels for Single A for age divisions8U Machine Pitch, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U
  • Games are played at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex Map»
  • Individual, Partial Team and Full team registration is available

  • Coaching Information: This league is dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching and would like to help with the program, please email or call 816.439.4393. For more details on what coaching with LPR requires, check out our coaching opportunities.

Competitive Baseball League

  • Liberty Parks & Rec Competitive Baseball League is  designed for three levels of competition to accommodate multiple ages and skill levels.
  • For boys ages 7-16
  • All teams must be sanctioned with USSSA and will receive 100 USSSA points
  • Levels for AA/ AAA/ and Major for age divisions: 8U Machine Pitch, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, and 15-16U
  • Games are played at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex Map»
  • Full team registration only

Rec Baseball League

  • Spring Youth Rec Baseball League is designed with multiple age divisions and levels of competition. This program emphasizes fun, participation and teamwork. Participants are guaranteed playing time in the field and at bat. 
  • For boys ages 6-12
  • Divisions for 7 yr. Machine Pitch, 8 yr. Machine Pitch, 9-10 Rec, and 11-12 Rec.

  • Coaching Information: The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please check out our volunteer opportunities. Volunteer coaches are allowed to bring in 4 kids to their team. The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend.

Scholarship Program

If you need any assistance to participate in a sports program, please check out the Liberty Parks & Rec Foundation Scholarship Programs.  These scholarships can make LPR programs and activities more accessible by partially covering the cost of current registration fees for youth who qualify.
