Public Art - Rotating Sculpture Program

With funding from a voter-approved Transient Guest Tax, the City of Liberty and the Liberty Arts Commission launched an annual Rotating Sculpture Program in 2017. Each year, the outdoor sculpture exhibition features new jury-selected, three-dimensional works of art displayed around the historic downtown area. With public input, the Liberty Arts Commission may purchase one or more of the pieces to be added to the City's permanent public art collection and to be moved to a permanent location elsewhere in the City. The remaining pieces are available for private purchase or commission. Through this innovative program, visitors to Liberty enjoy an ever-changing artscape in our downtown and beyond! Download the Otocast app or visit our online Otocast page for a map of the sculpture exhibits and to hear descriptions of each piece from the artist themselves. You can also vote for your favorite sculpture in the app. The Otocast app is available on Apple and Android devices.
