Ways to Pay Your Utility Bill

  • Pay Online - A NEW payment portal for utility bills was implemented in September 2025. 
    • Don’t have an online account yet? Register today» 
      • You’ll need the new account number and PIN that is printed in the top right corner of your bill.
      • If you need assistance setting up your new account, call 816.439.4460 or come by the Utility Billing window at City Hall. 
  • By Phone – Call 855-200-9522
  • Mail in Your Payment: Make checks of money orders payable to CITY OF LIBERTY. 
    • Please attach your stub and write your account number in the memo section of your check. 
    • The mailing address is

  • Pay in Person
    • At the cashier’s window inside City Hall, 101 E Kansas St. 
  • Drop Boxes
    • On Missouri Street across from the Liberty Police Department. Open 24/7. 
    • At the Liberty Community Center at 1600 S. Withers Rd. Open during regular business hours.
    • Drop box payments are not posted until the next business day.
    • Cash payments are not recommended and at your own risk.

Utility Bill Newsletter
