The Liberty Silver Center is providing breakfast of biscuits and gravy for a Men’s breakfast on February 16 at 8:00 a.m. with a special presentation from Jay Jackson on the Civil War battles fought in and around Liberty.
Jay will be sharing a power point presentation on the battle that was fought in the area as well as uniforms and other paraphernalia from the war.
The breakfast is open to men aged 60 and older. A $1 donation will be accepted to cover the expense of the breakfast. To make your reservations, call 439-4368 by Friday, February 12.
The Liberty Silver Center is a place where adults 60 and older and physically challenged individuals ages 18-59 come Monday through Friday to socialize, participate in activities, and enjoy a hot nutritious meal. The Silver Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on weekends and major holidays. The center is located inside the Liberty Community Center at 1600 South Withers Rd.
