City officials are aware of the odor affecting Liberty residents.

The odor is coming from a composting plant outside of City limits. City officials are scheduling meetings with the Department of Natural Resources and State representatives to discuss the issue. The City also is contacting Northland Haz Mat to conduct air monitoring.
