Liberty Parks and Recreation is now taking registration for a guided tour of Kansas City's many fountains, July 7.
Kansas City has over 160 fountains, second only to Rome, Italy. The first fountain was built in 1899. Enjoy a delightful day, with a step-on guide, learning and viewing some of the fountains that are through out the Kansas City area. We will learn the history of the KC Parks & Recreation and view close to 40 fountains. If you have always wanted to learn about KC's fountains, this trip is for you!
The fee for residents is $60, or $55 for Liberty Community Center Members through the member rewards program. Price includes transportation, guided tour, lunch & driver gratuity. Registration deadline has been extended to June 12. The bus will depart at 9:45 a.m. from the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Rd.
