April is National Move More Month, created by the American Heart Association to help improve the health of Americans by encouraging them to get up and move! Moving more and increasing your physical activity can provide many benefits such as improved cardiovascular health, a boost in energy levels, stress relief and increased strength.
Liberty Parks & Rec’s Health & Wellness Division is encouraging you to move more this month with a Group Exercise Class Punch Card. Attend 10 Group Exercise classes at the Liberty Community Center and be entered into a drawing for a gift card! Pick up your punch card at the Liberty Community Center Welcome Desk starting on April 1 and return to the Welcome Desk by May 10 to be entered in the drawing. Commit to improving your health and get moving this April!
