4-H

4-H provides kids with community, mentors, and learning opportunities to develop the skills they need to create positive change in their lives and communities In these class, we will go over the importance of MyPlate and how to incorporate it into every meal. Kids will also be able to take home recipes used to recreate at home. Make sure you fill out the health form before the class to ensure all dietary restrictions are being followed. Liberty Parks & Rec and Clay County 4-H have partnered to offer the following workshops:

All American Breakfast Foods - Oct. 27

We will explore how to spice up our breakfast with some new and different recipes. There will be some classics mixed in with the new and this is one your kiddo will not want to miss! 

Holiday Cooking - Nov. 10

The holidays are just around the corner and this class will teach kiddos about some tasty holiday favorites and they will be ready to help out in the kitchen.  

Let's Get Sweet - Dec. 15

In this class we will learn how to make some sweet holiday treats and fun ways to incorporate fruits and vegetables! This class will include sweet and tasty treats you can use to celebrate family gatherings, birthday parties, holiday fun or even if you are just in need of a sweet treat!
