Heartland Tree Alliance will offer basic tree pruning course for shade and ornamental trees utilizing hands-on and teacher instruction on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9- 11 a.m. at Stocksdale Park. Pruning and training a tree young can make for a stronger healthier tree as it ages and matures. Class format will include conversation about tree biology and basic pruning techniques as well as a demonstration.
All tools provided, must register in advance, space limited.
