The Regal Chess School Pawn to King curriculum will guide students as they advance. Students will be given two digital workbooks to complete during each scholastic year. Progress will be measured by a chess skills test taken at the end of each level. Research says chess improves test scores on math and reading. Every chess club session will consist of numerous activities that include a chess lesson, tactical and strategic exercises, tournament preparation and practice play. Chess club will be conducted through ZOOM using a virtual chess board.

We encourage enrolling at least one week before class begins to ensure the child is ready to go on the first session. Upon registration, parents will receive instructions for setup and digital materials for the class.
