The Liberty community has a strong tradition of looking out for our neighbors. This is especially true during the holiday season. If you're looking for ways to lend a hand, here are a few ideas.
Adopt a Liberty Community Christmas Tree family
Volunteers are needed to help shop for gifts for the 744 children and deliver the gifts and food to the 295 families on delivery day (Dec. 8). Below are the dates for this year's shopper meetings. Bring a valid drivers license with you to the meeting. All meetings are at 6 p.m.
- Nov. 27 - Heritage Hall, 117 W Kansas Street, Liberty, MO
- Nov. 28 - Shoal Creek Elementary School, 9000 NE Flintlock Road, Kansas City, MO
- Nov. 29 - Heritage Hall, 117 W Kansas Street, Liberty, MO
Deliver food to the 124 households in the Liberty Community Christmas Tree program.
