This exercise program will focus on standing and seated exercises that will improve your balance and keep you more active and independent.

Healthy living means finding new things you enjoy and adapting to change, staying physically and socially active, and feeling connected to your community and love ones. Learn the difference between Assisted Living, Independent Living and a Community IL/AL Skilled Nursing.
Exercise with Heather: Stand Tall - This exercise program will include seated exercises and daily living examples that will give you more strength in going from chair to standing, from standing to the car, as well as modeling daily activities and strengthening the core and back to make you feel better and stand taller.

-- Getting Older, Feeling Younger - Join Liberty Hy-Vee dietitian Tamra Thole for an informational session on the importance of nutrition as we age. The way we eat influences our minds, bodies and spirits. Learn how you can improve your nutrition for optimal quality of life and discover the resources available to help you do so!

Friday, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.:
Entertainment - Enjoy the great music with “The Doctor of Music, Gino Bueno Music Rx” music for the mind, body and soul. (10:30 a.m.)
Soup and Salad Potluck Party - We’ll cap off the week with a soup and salad potluck party. Bring your favorite salad or dessert to share (or $5 without a dish to share) and we will provide all the fixings to make a fabulous salad.
All presentations and exercise demonstrations are FREE! NOTE: If you are having lunch Monday thru Friday reservations are required. Please call 816-439-4368 or email bthomas@libertymo.gov by noon the day before to reserve meal. The cost for lunch is a $2 donation.
