During the month of July Super Families can record their conquered missions (listed below) by uploading a photo of at least one family hero engaging in the designated activity.
Use your super powers (and imagination):
1. Play disc golf at the Bad Rock Creek Disc Golf Course in Stocksdale Park
2. Visit the Liberty Dog Park in Stocksdale Park - and don't forget to bring Sparky the Wonder Dog!
3. Catch a fish at one of Fountain Bluff's stocked ponds
4. Pose with George Washington at Railway Plaza or Mark Twain at City Hall
5. Play tennis at Bennett Park
6. Get wet at City Park or Ruth Moore Park Sprayground
7. Play a family kickball game (who can fly around the bases the fastest?)
8. Walk the trails at Stocksdale Park
9. Have a picnic in Wilshire Park
10. Read your favorite book in Westboro-Canterbury Greenway (we love superhero comics)
11. Slide and/or swing at Clay Ridge Park's playground
12. Try out the hillslide at Arthur's Hill Park
13. Attend the Liberty 4th Fest at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex
14. Shoot hoops at Ruth Moore park
15. Pick up a FREE helium balloon at the Liberty Community Center
All families posting at least five photos will receive a t-shirt or a water bottle and will be entered into a drawing for a 20 pass swipe card to the Liberty Community Center. Families who share photos demonstrating completion of at least 10 of the challenge activities will be entered into a drawing for three grand prize gift cards.
Each photo posted to the Facebook event should include a brief description. Please note that any photos submitted to the challenge may be used in City of Liberty or Liberty Parks and Recreation printed or electronic promotional materials.
