Missouri Department of Transportation crews will shut down the northbound Route 291 bridge over the Missouri River today, May 6. MoDOT found significant deterioration to the structure. The timeline for repairs is unknown at this time. Motorists traveling northbound will be moved to the southbound 291 bridge making the traffic run one lane each way.
