Have you heard? The Easter Bunny will make an early stop in Liberty on March 28 to hide 15,000 Easter Eggs in Liberty’s 112-acre Stocksdale Park.
The Easter Bunny will spread colorful, candy-filled eggs along paved and unpaved trails throughout the park for boys and girls (8 years old and younger) to find at Stocksdale Park, 901 S. Lafrenz Road. Everyone should meet at the park near shelter house #1 prior to the 11 a.m. start. Children will be divided into three age groups to hunt for the eggs on the paved and unpaved trails located in the park. Bring your camera for that special photo with the Easter Bunny.
In an effort to help others in the community, the Parks and Recreation Department will also be collecting non-perishable items to benefit the In As Much Ministries food pantry. Non-perishable items are encouraged, but not required.
