[ARCHIVED] Call for Artists: 5th Annual Liberty Arts Squared

The 5th Annual Liberty Arts Squared Festival is now accepting applications from visual and literary artists to participate in the two-day arts festival, June 6-7, 2014.

Entries are juried and merit cash awards are given in the visual, folk arts and crafts, and literary arts categories, with awards for Best Overall Festival Exhibit, Best Individual Fine Visual Exhibit, and Best Individual Fine Crafts Exhibit, among others. Judging will take place on Friday evening, June 6. More than $3,000 in prizes will be awarded.

-- Visual Arts: Apply online at www.ZAPPlication.com.
-- Literary Arts: Email rakupotterkc@gmail.com or ckariotis@aol.com.

When to apply:
-- Early Application: Artists who submit their applications by noon, Jan. 20 will receive a $10 discount on the booth registration fee and an early review by the jury

-- Application Deadline: All entries must be received by noon, April 20.

Artists will be notified of the jury's decision no later than April 26. The festival is presented by The Liberty Arts Commission and Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc.
