The Liberty Community Christmas Tree Commission and The Sertoma Club of Liberty are hosting a Halloween bash, October 28, to benefit the Liberty Community Christmas Tree, which is designed to lend a hand to disadvantaged Liberty area families who might not otherwise have a joyous holiday season.
This year’s theme is Flash back to the ‘80s. Come dressed in your best ‘80s outfit to Heritage Hall, 117 W. Kansas. Doors open at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for best costumed individual and best couple. Music will be provided by DJ Kris with Platinum Productions. There will also be light hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar available.
This year Liberty Community Christmas Tree anticipates helping approximately 300 families with food and gifts for the holiday season. The program has a goal of $30,000 to meet these needs. All proceeds from this Halloween bash will go to the Liberty Community Christmas Tree.
Tickets for the Halloween bash are $15 per person or $25 per couple in advance; or $20 per person/$30 per couple at the door. Tickets can be purchase in advance at Platte Valley Bank.
