In honor of the Liberty Arts Squared Festival, a new exhibit at City Hall celebrates the creative process.
The images of young photographer Lillie Schenk document the 2010 Liberty Arts Squared Festival, from the planning stages through the main event and the post-festival clean-up. Lillie approached the project as a photo-journalist, and plans to publish a book of festival photographs as a keepsake for festival planners, artists, and attendees. Lillie is a student at the Kansas City Art Institute studying graphic design, and is the daughter of artist Holly Schenk and photographer Paul Schenk.
The exhibit is open to the public during normal City Hall hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and runs through June 24.
