The best thing Liberty residents can do during winter storms, if at all possible, is to stay off the streets.
If you do not have true emergency, please do not call 911. In this kind of weather, calls to the City's dispatching center escalate. Our dispatchers need to be available to direct emergency services to those that are truly in need.
If you have an non-injury, vehicular accident on private property, you can download a Private Property Accident Information Form download a form from the Police Department's website at www.ci.liberty.mo.us/LPD.
Residents also can make it easier on crews during winter storms by parking vehicles in driveways when possible. This makes it safer and more efficient for our City crews to plow the streets when vehicles are not parked in the roadways.
