Liberty Community Christmas Tree, Volunteers Needed to Shop for 1,137 children, We give you the $

Every child deserves a little holiday magic. The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program has 440 families (1,137 kids) signed up for assistance this year — that’s 72 more kids than last year!

You can make a difference by sponsoring a family. Here’s how:

Attend a shopper meeting.

Pick a family to sponsor.

Receive gift cards provided by the program and shop for your family!

Shopper Meeting Info (Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers):

Tuesday, Nov. 25: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 26: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 1: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (This meeting will end when the last family has been sponsored.)

Meetings are open house style. Families are distributed first come, first served — no advance sign-up needed. Please bring a valid driver’s license. Can’t make a meeting? Email the LCCT program coordinator to make other arrangements at LCCT@libertymo.gov.
