Republic Services has provided a 30-yard dumpster next to City Hall (101 E. Kansas St.) starting on Friday, July 5. The dumpster will be for disposal of items damaged in the storm and waste from food spoilage due to lack of power. The dumpster will be removed the morning of July 10.
Food waste and spoiled food will need to be placed into a sealed/tied bag, like a heavy-duty trash bag. Other items damaged in the storm -- such as patio chairs, grills, flower pots -- can also be placed in the dumpster.
