[ARCHIVED] MoDOT Pavement Operations in Liberty

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing pavement operations at various locations in Clay County resulting in lane and ramp closures. See below for Liberty locations and dates. All work is weather permitting.

  • One lane will be closed on southbound MO 291 from Prairie St to Missouri Ct. (Liberty) starting Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, July 9 at 6 a.m.
  • One lane will be closed on northbound MO 291 from Main St to W Murray Rd. (Liberty) starting Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, July 9 at 6 a.m.
  • One lane will be closed on southbound MO 291 SB Elizabeth St to Middlebrook Dr. (Liberty) starting Monday, July 8 at 7p.m. until Tuesday, July 9 at 6 a.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
