With the release of Clay County Public Health Center recovery plan, the City of Liberty and Liberty Parks & Rec have been developing plans to begin slowly and responsibly reopening our City facilities, amenities and programs.
Beginning Monday, May 4, the following will be OPEN:
- City Hall will be open to the public from 10 a.m-3 p.m.
- City parks and trails will remain open
- Stocksdale Park, including the dog park, disc golf course and trails
- Pickleball court on Withers Road
- Tennis courts and skate park at Bennett Park
IF PATRONS DO NOT FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES, THESE AMENITIES WILL BE CLOSED AGAIN
With anticipated Clay County Public Health Center occupancy restrictions and concerns with high touch facilities and amenities the following facilities / amenities will remain CLOSED for the time being:
- Liberty Community Center, including the Liberty Senior Center and Liberty Performing Arts Center
- City spraygrounds, playgrounds and restrooms
- Basketball and sand volleyball courts in Liberty parks
- Capital Federal® Sports Complex - closed for both tournaments and league play
