LFD will host a birthday open house at Fire Station 1 on October 19. Come meet some of the fire fighters who serve the Liberty community. We will have a variety of activities and games, including:
- Tours of Fire Station 1
- Fire fighter games
- Try on fire fighter gear
- Spray water and go through our trailer with simulated smoke just like the fire fighters
- Learn how you could possibly save someone’s life using “Hand’s Only CPR” with Liberty Hospital
- Check out “Huck”, our 1935 La France fire truck, as well as several other fire trucks and ambulance
Light refreshments provided by Hy-vee and Eileen’s Colossal Cookies.
