Paving of the the City parking lot at Kansas and N. Prairie will take longer than anticipated due to an insufficient base. Crews will install a gravel base before proceeding with paving each section.This will extend the length of the project, but will result in a better parking lot for employees and visitors in downtown Liberty. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by July 6.
Sections of the City parking lot at Kansas and N. Praire Street will be closed for reconstruction through July 6, weather permitting. Each section will be closed for several days, but one section should be open at all times for parking.
