In cooperation with Liberty Animal Control, and in celebration of World Spay Day, veterinarians around Liberty are participating in a reduced-price pet sterilization program February 27 – March 3 for Liberty residents.
There are a limited number of appointments available, so interested persons are encouraged to call early to schedule. Participating veterinary facilities are:

Citizens must show proof of residency to qualify for the discount. Pet owners will pay:
- $85 to spay or neuter a cat. This also includes rabies and feline distemper vaccinations and a physical exam.
- $95 to spay or neuter a dog. This also includes rabies and canine distemper/parvo vaccinations, heartworm test, physical examination and a City license.
- Additional charges could be incurred for pets that are pregnant or in-heat, as well as for treatment of any medical concerns the veterinarian may discover during examination.
