Window-Workshop.jpg

Do you feel stuck with your drafty old wood windows? Would you like to have beautiful, functional windows without investing a small fortune in replacement windows?

Come learn about wood window repair on Sept. 17 with the City of Liberty Preservation Office. Old house expert John Carr will demonstrate how to repair wood windows at this free, hands-on seminar from 9 a.m. - noon.

Demonstrations will include how to remove the sashes to repair ropes and weights, replace broken glass, re-glazing, and how to properly install weather-stripping. Examples of new wooden storm windows will also be on hand.

The workshop will be held at 419 Wilson St. in Liberty and is open to the public, but space is limited to 12 participants, so please RSVP to 816.439.4533 by Sept. 15.
