The Mid-Continent Library - Liberty Branch and the Liberty Arts Commission present Memories in the Making: Using Watercolors for Creative Art Expression for Individuals with Alzheimer's.
Memories in the Making© is a program of the Alzheimer's Association, which uses watercolor as a medium for creative art expression for individuals with Alzheimer's and related disorders. The program is done in assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, and in community settings.
The pieces in this exhibit were selected by jury, and are displayed as a testament to the strengths and abilities that remain in people with Alzheimer's disease. This exhibit will be on display at the Liberty Branch until April 28.
