Ground Breaking Excavation, a contractor for the City of Liberty, will begin work on July 9th to repair the western approach to the bridge on Richfield Road.
This construction project will require that Richfield Road will be closed between Cherry Street and Spring Avenue from July 9 through August 9. Message boards have been placed at the bridge to notify area residents about the impending closure. A detour will be in place throughout the closure which directs traffic to use Leonard Street/M33, Claywoods Drive and Claywoods Parkway. City staff worked with the contractor to schedule the repair during a time that had minimal impact on school traffic in and out of this area.
