CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION

MINUTES

Tuesday, January 21, 2003

 

I.                    CALL TO ORDER

 

A special session of the City Council of the City of Liberty, Missouri was held in the Council Chambers at City Hall on January 21, 2003 with Mayor Stephen P. Hawkins presiding.  Mayor Hawkins called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

 

II.         ROLL CALL

 

Council members present included Coni Hadden, Ward I; LeRoy Coe and Anna Marie Martin, Ward II; Juarenne Hester, Ward III; and Bill Parker Ward IV.  Also in attendance were Patty Gentrup, City Administrator; Cynthia Boecker, Assistant City Administrator; Craig Knouse, Police Chief; Linda Tyree, Finance Director; Sara Ott, Assistant to the City Administrator – Human Resources; Chris Deal, Parks & Recreation Director; Donna Kay Tayor, Community Center Manager; Dennis Dovel, Sports Complex Manager; Steve Rulo, Parks and Open Space Manager, and Steve Anderson, City Planner; Summer Harlow, The Kansas City Star, Scott Faubion, The Liberty Tribune and 5 members of the public.

 

III.       AUTHORIZE EXECUTIVE SESSION TO BE HELD JANUARY 21, 2003 IN THE COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE STUDY SESSION TO DISCUSS PERSONNEL MATTERS, AS AUTHORIZED BY 610.021(3) RSMo – MOTION

 

Council Member Hadden moved to authorize the executive session.  Council Member Martin seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

 

IV.        ADJOURNMENT

 

The meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
