Each month, April through October, the City will test outdoor sirens at 11 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. The City will not sound the sirens on these days if the weather conditions do not allow.
For alerts indoors, every home and business should have a NOAA All-Weather Radio. This type of radio is like a smoke detector for severe weather, and it can wake you up when a warning is issued for your area so you can take appropriate action.

Regular volunteer work days are scheduled to trim brush and pick up trash at the Fairview, New Hope and Mt. Memorial Cemeteries. Work days are generally held on the 3rd Saturday of the month (March - October).
The disposal site is located on new 210 Highway, approximately a 1/2 mile east of Highway 291.
Prizes available for the first 500 children who complete the activity and return it to the Liberty Community Center. Limit one prize per child. There must be someone present for each activity sheet submitted. Completed activity sheets will be accepted through Nov. 3, or until all the prizes are gone!
