Day Trip - New Theatre Restaurant

Wednesday, January 4, 2023

Join us for a day trip to see the show "Come Blown Your Horn" at the New Theatre Restaurant. Transportation will be provided by the Liberty Access Bus from the Liberty Community Center.

Are you kidding? Hal Linden won 7 Emmy Award nominations for his work on BARNEY MILLER, one for each season the series ran. He can claim three Emmys and a Tony Award for BEST ACTOR. Sally Struthers won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her unforgettable role as Gloria Stivic in the groundbreaking sit-com ALL IN THE FAMILY. Rarely do you get the opportunity to see two timeless, legendary television icons on stage, in person in a classic stage comedy. This is a once-in-a-lifetime, theatrical comedy event!

About the Show:

With Four Tony’s, Four Academy Award nominations and a Pulitzer Prize, Neil Simon is the most prolific, celebrated and awarded playwright in the history of Broadway. This semi-autobiographical comedy was his first hit and launched his unprecedented career. COME BLOW YOUR HORN is about family and all the crazy, hilarious and wonderful things that happen when parents and their adult children get together. It’s 1961, the era of The Twist and swinging bachelor pads. Alan Baker, a 30-ish single guy with time, money and women to spare, welcomes his innocent and naïve baby brother Buddy into his den of iniquity while their horrified parents can only watch and overeat.
