Art Exhibits featuring LPS students' work

For the first time ever, Liberty Public Schools Arts Departments, the Liberty Arts Commission and our three gallery locations are collaborating in an exhibit of artwork featuring student artists in grades 1 through 12 through Jan. 31.

Come celebrate the talents of Liberty students at one, two or three receptions that will be held today at each location.

  • 3-4 p.m. at Mid-Continent Public Library Liberty Branch, 1000 Kent St. Featuring art by middle school students.
  • 4:30-5:15 p.m at Liberty City Hall, 101 E. Kansas. Featuring art by high school students.
  •  5:30-6:30 p.m at Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Road. Featuring art by elementary school students.

Can't make it to one of the opening receptions? No worries! The artwork will be on display through Jan. 31.
