Experience the Kauffman Memorial Garden

Put on your Sunday best and hop aboard the Liberty Access bus to visit the blooming Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden.  Just 30 minutes from the Liberty Community Center, the Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden draws inspiration from the couple’s journey through life and their commitment to share with others. It is an enduring gift for Kansas City that extends the legacy of a gracious couple and welcomes visitors to a vibrant landscape throughout the year. Altogether, the garden features 7,000 plants, varieties that include vintage and modern perennials, annuals, shrubs, bulbs and trees. 

  • Date: May 3, 2018
  • Time: 9 a.m - 12 p.m. 
    • Bus leaves at 9 a.m. (please arrive by 8:55 a.m.)
  • Ages: 50 and older
  • Location: meet at the Liberty Community Center Map»
  • Fee: $5 for members, $6 for non-members (covers transportation and the garden is free)
  • Registration Deadline: May 1, 2018 (space is limited to 19 participants)

The program coordinator will bring a camera to capture portraits of you and your friends among the wildflowers.
