Liberty Parks & Rec and its program partners invite you to join us for activities that will keep your mind sharp, your body active and keep you feeling young. 

AARP Safe Driving Class

Keep your driving skills sharp and lower your insurance rate at the same time with the AARP Driver Safety Course. 
  • No tests given, no driving required and no AARP membership card required.
  • Fees are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non AARP members.

Dog Obedience 

Instructed by Rosemarie von Fintel, these classes are based on the Canine Good Citizen Program from the American Kennel Club. Rosemarie has over 20 years of dog obedience experience and provides proven technique that will benefit both you and your dog. There are beginner and advanced classes where you will work on skills needed in everyday life, house breaking, grooming, problem solving and more.

Matter of Balance

Many older adults experience a fear of falling. People who develop this fear often limit their activities, which can result in physical weakness, making the risk of falling even greater. Matter of Balance is a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults ages 50 and better.
