Youth Recreational Softball League

Liberty Parks & Rec Youth Recreational Softball League is offered for girls ages 7-12. This program is designed with an emphasis on fun, participation and teamwork. Participants are guaranteed playing time in the field and at bat.

League Information

  • League Format: 8 game schedule on weeknights starting at 6 p.m.
  • Divisions: 7 yr. Machine Pitch, 8 yr. Machine Pitch, Rec 9-10 and Rec 11-12.
    • (The age of your child on April 30, 2017 is the age level they will play in.)
  • Equipment Provided: We provide practice balls, game balls, jerseys and hats. Players are responsible for shoes and pants. Additional equipment will be available upon request following the coaches meeting.
  • Practices: One weekday practice and one weekend practice. (Weekday practices will end once games start.)
  • Location: Games are played at various parks in Liberty
  • Registration: Next League: Spring 2018

Coaching Information:

The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please check out our volunteer opportunities. Volunteer coaches are allowed to bring in 4 kids to their team. The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend.

Season Information

Scores and Standings:
    • Scores and standings are tracked through the USSSA website. Teams completing the league will also receive 100 USSSA points.
